Slicktionary is designed from the ground up to work in the background while using very low system resources. So Slicktionary only uses very low memory and beats most of its competitors in this respect.

The dictionary is not installed on your computer. In cooperation with dict.cc the dictionary offers you more than 500.0000 translations without storing them on your hard disk or RAM.

Being accessed online, the dictionary is always up-to-date. New translations or corrections are available as soon as they become available without anything for you to care about.

Slicktionary is very compact and does not depend on any framework like .NET or Java.
